To give yourself the best possible chance of playing to your potential, you must prepare for every eventuality. That means practice.
Seve Ballesteros
The term Triple Threat, in its simplest form, refers to the offensive stance that allows you to pass, dribble or shoot on the basketball court.

We take the term to the next level; to become a true Triple Threat, basketball players must combine their playing skills with hard work, a
positive attitude, and teamwork.

The Triple Threat Camp strives to help students accomplish their basketball goals in a fun and educational environment. Every player has the
potential to be great, not only on the basketball court, but in the game of life.

Our goal is for every student to leave with a positive experience, realizing that lessons learned on the court can help shape their lives off
the court as well. Education is a fundamental element of Triple Threat Camp, an element emphasized and ingrained into every student’s mind.

Triple Threat CAMPS YEAR ROUND PROGRAMMING

Make It Happen Sports Triple Threat Camps offers year round camps, clinics, and after-school programs. We meet the needs of every athlete,
from beginner to advanced by offering specialized
programming that caters to their age and ability.

Our camp will be broken into four main categories. The campers will divide their time at camp into these categories.

40% of the camp activity is drill work to improve triple threat, dribble triple threat, creating space with the dribble and out of the triple
threat, Pro & Collegiate dribble moves, shot mechanics, intense shooting, moving without the ball, finishing, footwork to finish, motion,
reading the defense, and decision making. We will cover court awareness and angles, how to attack these angles, what moves to use and where
to use them, how to use them in relation to where your defender is, how to check your defender and learn their tendencies and how to read the
help defense.

30%. Defense. We will spend time each day on talking about the game of basketball.  We then will demonstrate with the counselors. Our staff
members have all achieved their highest level of the game. We break the game down for the campers while they are playing in a half court set.
We talk about how the ball defender is protecting the ball and court angles while the other defenders will be protecting passing lanes in a
flat line triangle to the ball and their player. We also talk about help side defense ball side defense standard rotations and advanced
rotations. While understanding all this makes you a good defender, it is this knowledge that can make you a great offensive player. It has been
our experience that from the high school level down, a very small percentage of the players have been taught or understand all this. Having
this kind of working knowledge will put you miles ahead of the average player.

30%. Conditioning. To be a good defender, shooter, scorer, or just an athlete period you need to be in shape. AT camp players will experience pro
& collegiate style training to help them maximize their productivity and potential. We will give tools they can use at home to help improve
their quickness, leaping ability, shooting range, and endurance.

100% Fun. The campers time spent at the Triple Threat camp will be spent on intensive hard work in the mornings. Just after lunch we will
spend time on the education of the game. For the remainder of the afternoon we will let the kids have some fun while they work on their game
and moves. We will have them work at one-on-one, three-on-three, and five-on-five stations. The staff will be right there with them to help
them learn what to do, when to do it, and why they should do it. The kids love this and it is a great time to work on their moves and apply some
of their newly-gained knowledge.
